A Sunday escape from Rome to celebrate our anniversary; we arrived right after lunch to enjoy the house in the daylight. We were initially stunned by the beauty of the place, its colors, the ancient farmhouse, and the splendid olive trees. We had a lovely dinner in Tuscania and visited the Terme dei Papi the following day&#8230; and while everyone else was working, we quietly returned to Rome in the afternoon. A true romantic getaway that I recommend to everyone. Those who truly love each other must give themselves this gift; they must stay in the treehouse at least once in a lifetime. We stayed in the Black Cabin: furnished in a hi-tech, modern style but with plenty of warm wood, strictly lavender-lilac bedspreads, and body care products and soaps with a delicious, delicate scent&#8230; a play of lights, windows, and mirrors to enjoy nature even from the inside, even when it is -2 degrees outside, as happened to us. In my opinion, the Black Cabin is more suitable in winter because it is closer to the main farmhouse; I imagine the Bleue, which is immersed in the lavender fields, must be spectacular in summer. What I loved most was the breakfast and the way it &#8216;arrives&#8217;&#8230; truly unexpected.
