Tuscia is the name given to Upper Lazio, corresponding to the province of Viterbo, north of Rome, and owes its origin to the ancient inhabitants of this land, the Etruscans, and to the importance it held in the Middle Ages as the “Patrimony of St. Peter in Tuscia”.

Palazzo Farnese in Caprarola, a pentagonal palace-fortress with its endless frescoes and monumental gardens on various levels, is one of the most important late Renaissance monuments in Europe.
Villa Lante in Bagnaia, with its eighteen hectares of park and Italian gardens, represents one of the greatest examples of sixteenth-century landscape architecture.

A place of worship and spiritual retreat dating back at least to the 11th century.
Carved into the tuff rock, the hermitage is located in an unspoiled natural area, accessible via a path along the Fiora River through woods and waterfalls, contributing to the mystical atmosphere of the place.

Located within the Selva del Lamone Nature Reserve in the municipality of Farnese, the Salabrone waterfall is a true natural jewel and one of the wildest and most spectacular waterfalls in Lazio with a drop of about 10 meters.
A peaceful and non-touristy environment, perfect for an outdoor excursion.

A UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2017, the Beech Forest of the Cimini Mountains is a rare example of “ancient forest” in Europe. With its unique and magical charm, it covers over 50 hectares at over 1,000 meters altitude.
The excellent restaurant at the foot of the forest, La Baita, offers a rich assortment of typical mountain and local cuisine specialties. Reservations are recommended.
A park of naturalistic-archaeological interest that combines nature, archaeology and Etruscan history in the Fiora River valley.
You will visit temples, necropolises, ancient bridges as well as woods, canyons and springs.
In summer, guided water activities, bike or horseback excursions are organized.

The Capodimonte lakefront, ideal for a relaxing day, offers over 2 km of volcanic sand, equipped facilities alternating with free beach, various kiosks and children’s playgrounds.
At “Il Platano” you can rent pedal boats and small motorboats without a license to reach the islands in the center of the lake.
A soft contact, a unique encounter with special animals at the largest alpaca farm in Italy, a few kilometers from the sea.
You will learn various curiosities about these adorable animals, you can feed them and take them for a walk (min. 8 years).
