July 17–19, 2026
Agriturismo La Piantata is pleased to welcome Paola Spigarelli and the team from Giuggiole – Art Experiences in Nature for a weekend dedicated to art and painting on water, titled “Night Cicadas.”
Two days immersed in a creative watercolor workshop, exploring the ancient Japanese technique of suminagashi—an experience that combines creativity, contemplation, and connection with nature.
Paola Spigarelli, a guest artist at Giuggiole 2026, was introduced to the world of creativity at a young age, encouraged by her mother’s vivid imagination. Thus, every little fragment—a piece of wood or a sheet of paper, any recycled material—found new life in her hands.
She also brought this creative sensibility to her professional work as a social worker, placing the joy of interaction, connection, and discovery at the heart of her practice. A multifaceted artist, she pursued many different careers throughout her life: she worked as a watchmaker, an interior decorator, and a coordinator of support services for seniors, teenagers, and children.
She paints, works with wood and paper, creates handmade bookbindings, and loves to sew—all out of a passion for these crafts. When she isn’t creating, she spends long periods immersed in nature, enjoying walks, swims, and bike rides, from which she draws inspiration for her artistic journey.
Reservations by no later than July 1
