Papyrus and Ivy are La Piantata’s latest additions. Both Suites are suspended 4 meters off the ground amongst the olive trees, have a terrace with a sea view, and are connected to each other by a 14-meter long Tibetan bridge. A beautiful path featuring 6 themed gardens, along with mindfully placed seats to enjoy a cup of coffee and a book, will lead you to your room.

“Glamping”, derived from “glamorous” and “camping”, is a new travel concept where stunning nature meets modern luxury. Our two new structures fit perfectly with this trend. Choose them for an authentic way to connect with nature and to enjoy an eco-friendly holiday without giving up on any comfort.

For those who need to indulge in a short relaxing break…

Papyrus and Ivy are strategically positioned at the heart of our new wellness spa. The spa is the first of its kind in Europe, built on platforms within the olive grove. It includes several stations featuring a sauna, a sensory shower, a jacuzzi, a dedicated massage space, and an area to sit and relax at the end of your wellness experience.

For those who love food…

As part of the new emerging “olive-oil tourism”, Papyrus and Ivy are located in the middle of our centuries-old olive grove that covers 18 hectares and 1,800 plants. This new type of tourism aims to promote the history, characteristics, and the regions of production of a truly Italian specialty: the extra virgin olive oil (EVO). For those interested we can organise on-site EVO oil tastings and trips to the local oil mill to learn more about the extraction process. If you visit between November and mid December you’ll also be able to watch the olive harvest.
